Notes: The second of the bootleg bounties I had brought back from Tokyo was a live Zeppelin concert from 1973. The title of the bootleg was 'The Longest Night', which sounded attractive enough for me to pick it out of the numerous bootlegs available at the Lighthouse. Since the night was, in fact, pretty long, I split the concert over two shows, and that gave me some room to play some unrelated stuff as well.

I remember hearing Robert Plant's In The Mood on the radio back home, and I kind of liked the song, but I couldn't get a hold of a copy of it (without paying...), so I figured if I could find it in the back of WVBU, I could play it on my show and have it that way. Well, I found the song on vinyl, and made an excuse to play it. I actually think somebody had requested a Robert Plant song, though I think the song they wanted was Tall Cool One. I half took the request, because I decided instead of the more well-known Tall Cool One, I was gonna play In The Mood, which I happened to be in the mood for. I explained this on the air, but then gave a disclaimer, trying to convince whatever listeners I might have had that I was, in fact, still open to requests, even if I sometimes take a little creative control - hey, that's why I'm the DJ, anyway!
