I have seen ??? Pokémon so far!

I may be CHOCO Bob, but I've got a lot more on my farm than Chocobos, believe it or not (you can call me PokéBob if you wish...). That's right, I deal in Pokémon, too. I have to say, I love to collect things, and I just have to catch them all! Pokémon for the Nintendo Gameboy has got me addicted. In fact, as I write this, my Gameboy Color with Pokémon Blue Version is sitting in my shirt pocket right now. I can't wait for Pokémon Gold and Silver, coming this Fall. Red and Blue (and Yellow) only have the first 150 (not counting the mysterious Mew), but Gold and Silver will continue up to #250! Which means a lot more collecting for me, but I must get them all!

I have added the Battle and Battle Advantage Charts finally, and will be adding the lists and ranks soon, so stay tuned... Also coming; secrets including Pokémon cloning, infinite items, catching Safari Zone Pokémon in the wild...; my Personal PokéLineup with over than TEN different PokéTeams!!!!

If you look just below, you will see that I have managed to capture all 150 Pokémon. Yes, I have done it. However, I remain unsatisfied. It was relatively simple. I can never be satisfied until I possess MEW. That's right. I'll find a way. I have to. In the meantime, I have initiated Project Catch'Em All, in which I intend to catch a living (well, not really living) sample of each and every Pokémon at its lowest possible level. Although this project can never be complete until Gold and Silver arrive on our American shores, I must still get as close as possible. This is my goal.

Now, to explain the following charts. There are three sets of information: the Battle Section, the Ability Section, and the Battle Advantage Section. Each section consists of a general information chart, a more elaborate listing, and a general ranking of Pokémon types based on the specific information of each Section.

• Battle Section - This section is based on the relative abilities of each Pokémon type against the others. The Chart proves to be a handy guide whereas the list is more extensive. The Rank is very general and only takes into account the offensive abilities of each type.
  
  
• Ability Section - For the most part, this Section is an extension of the last section and includes not only the offensive abilities for each Pokémon type but also its defensive abilities. There is no Chart because the list is derived directly from the Battle Chart. A Raw Score is calculated for each type based on the number of types it is effective against AND the number of types it is weak against, theefore producing a more reliable ranking than the last one.
  
  
• Battle Advantage Section - Ah yes, the culmination of my studies... This Section is based off the information from the Ability Section and a Chart has been produced that represents not just each individual Pokémon type's abilities, but the entire battle situation. In other words, the abilities and weaknesses of each type are not the only thing that is taken into consideration but also the abilities and weaknesses of the type that is being fought against. For example, a Normal Pokémon is fighting a Ghost Pokémon. The Normal-type Pokémon is bad against Ghost-type Pokémon, but it happens to be good against Fighting-type Pokémon, so it would be better to put the Normal-type Pokémon into a battle against a Fighting-type Pokémon rather than a Ghost-type, right? WRONG! The Normal Pokémon may be bad against Ghost-types, but Ghost-types are bad against Normal-types as well, so in this situation, there is no advantage. A Fighting-type Pokémon is great against a Normal-Type, so you may hurt the Fighting-type more than you would the Ghost-type, but the Fighting-type is going to hurt you even more. Therefore, you would be at a disadvantage, as opposed to no advantage against the Ghost-type. In conclusion, you would be better off using a Normal-type Pokémon against a Ghost-type than a Fighting-type. Therein lies the difference from the first chart. Also, the Rankings, all three of them, are more accurate. The first one ranks Offensive Ability, the second one ranks Defensive Ability, and the last one is an average between Offense and Defense to give an Overall Ranking(the most accurate). WHEW!!! I hope I haven't lost you, but if I have, then just use this advice: None of this is entirely concrete(especially with the addition of Double-Type Pokémon, of which there are quite a few), so just use these charts for general information and the last (3) Rankings are the ones to look to for the most accurate Ranking. Now here's a treat for getting through all this crap (it's actually quite important, but whatever), the identity of my starter Pokémon is Charmander, and it is now a Charizard at level 100!
